APPEALS

Individuals have the right to appeal certain decisions made by BACB staff or committees. There are two categories of appeals:

  • Administrative Appeals
The Administrative Appeal process allows individuals to appeal adverse decisions related to certification eligibility, examination, or recertification. To learn more about Administrative Appeals and how to submit one, visit the Administrative Appeals web page.
  • Disciplinary Appeals
The Disciplinary Appeal process allows individuals to appeal consequences as part of a Disciplinary Review or summary action. You can learn more about the Disciplinary Review and Appeal processes in the Code-Enforcement Procedures.

Note: BACB standards, requirements, deadlines, procedures, fees, examination content, examination delivery modality, examination results, and specific questions/answers may not be appealed.
