***Applicants choose the exact date, time, and location for their exam based upon the appointments available at the time the appointment is scheduled. Appointments are available on a “first-come, first-served” basis. The sooner an applicant submits their documentation, the better chances the applicant will have to obtain an appointment that meets their preferences. Information about testing site locations can be found on Pearson VUE’s website.
Pearson VUE charges a fee for every appointment. This fee is not included in the application fees paid to the BACB. It is paid directly to Pearson VUE when the appointment is made. The fee is $125. Candidates may be required to pay applicable sales tax, value-added tax, GST, or similar tax required by law in the country or locality in which they are testing. If taxes are applicable, they will be collected at the time of scheduling by Pearson VUE.
An applicant may reschedule or cancel a testing appointment up to one day prior to his or her appointment. Exam appointment fees will not be refunded if the applicant fails to appear for a scheduled appointment, cancels less than one day prior to a scheduled appointment, or is not admitted due to lack of proper identification.
