Noncertified RBT Supervisors
Due to the limited time remaining for noncertified RBT Supervisors to provide supervision to RBTs under an RBT Requirements Coordinator, RBT Requirements Coordinators must submit a Noncertified RBT Supervisor Request Form to the BACB to have all noncertified RBT Supervisor’s license and competence in ABA reviewed by October 1, 2024. Approved noncertified RBT Supervisors may continue to supervise RBTs until January 1, 2026.Board of Directors President Announcement

The BACB has compiled 2023 pass rates for first-time BCBA and BCaBA examination candidates from university training programs. The data are sorted by the percentage of passing candidates and alphabetically by university. The 2024 Michael Hemingway Behavior Analysis Award
Each year, the BACB honors an individual with the Michael Hemingway Behavior Analysis Award to commemorate the life and contributions of Michael Hemingway, who played a central role in the development of behavior analyst certification in Florida before serving as a founding member of the BACB Board of Directors. Michael’s commitments to the profession of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and to increasing access to services are reflected in the behavior of the individual who receives the award named after him.

The BACB used the Developer™ database from Lightcast® to assess US employment demand for behavior analysts from 2010–2023 and demand by state from the past 12 months. The report reveals strong demand for behavior analysts throughout the US.
